The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) is a membership-based regional human rights organization committed to the promotion and protection of all human rights including the right to development. It was founded on 17 December 1991 in Manila and has at present, 40 member organizations in 13 countries in the North East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia regions. FORUM-ASIA, as an NGO in Consultative Status with the UN Economic Social Council (ECOSOC), also promotes cooperation with governments, inter-governmental organizations and the UN for the betterment of people’s lives and the full respect of human rights and human dignity. |

The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) today urged Mongolia’s Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs to respect the freedom of association and allow the registration of a new non-governmental organisation called the “Court of Honored Citizens”, which aims to promote and protect the rights of victims of unlawful court decisions in Mongolia. |
